Boundless

Our new contemporary ballet company will allow Spring dancers to perform a dance concert that will take their artistry to new levels.

Mini, Junior and Senior Action Performance Companies with join forces with Boundless and our Academy students to create an original production.

Student Showcase

Our annual Student Showcase will feature our Academy students with Mini, Junior and Senior Action Performance Companies and Boundless to celebrate the work we do in classes each year.

Several performance and community events such as Art-A-Whirl and MN State Fair Parade happen throughout the year and will be posted as dates are available.

Ages 3-4 Preschool Dance

Level 1-2 Dance

Beginning ballet, jazz, and creative movement geared toward ages 5-6

Advanced-Beginning/Intermediate geared toward ages 7-10

^ This level is performing in the Spring Show. A $50 performance fee will be added Nov. 1st. If more than one participating class is being taken, the second class will have a performance fee of $25. Each participating class thereafter will have a performance fee of $10.

Performance Companies

Boundless

Boundless is a new venture directed by Spring Dance and Theatre Academy owner Amber Keeley. Contemporary ballet choreographic work by Amber and guest choreographers will challenge our students and professional Spring performers to dive into their technical training to find new ways to express themselves and tell new stories. A mid-season dance concert is planned.

Boundless tuition is separate from regular tuition and has no performance fees. Level 3a and 3b - $65/month; Level 4-8 - $120/month

Mini Action Performance Company

Mini Action Performance Company is a new addition to the Action family! This group of elementary-aged students ages 7+ will sing and act alongside their older counterparts as they continue their Musical Theatre journey. They will perform in the Spring Show and the Student Showcase.

Action tuition is separate from regular tuition and has no performance fees. Mini Action - $65/month

Junior Action Performance Company

Junior Action Performance Company is a group of middle school-aged students on their Musical Theatre journey. They will perform in the Spring Show and the Student Showcase. This group often has other performance opportunities throughout the year as well. Students will experience advanced-beginning/intermediate level dancing along with singing and acting.

Action tuition is separate from regular tuition and has no performance fees. Junior Action - $140/month - Saturday 1:00-3:00

Senior Action Performance Company

Senior Action Performance Company is a group of high school-college aged students on their Musical Theatre journey. They will perform in the Spring Show and the Student Showcase. This group often has other performance opportunities throughout the year as well, including the opportunity to join us touring other schools. Students will experience intermediate through advanced level dancing along with singing and acting.

Action tuition is separate from regular tuition and has no performance fees. Senior Action - $140/month - Saturday 2:00-4:00

Welcome to Spring!! Trial classes are available for all new students or any students looking to try a new class! New students must register online before entering class.
Please bring a water bottle, wear dance attire, dance shoes and have your hair neatly back for dance classes. Registration link HERE.
We are located on the first floor of The Kennedy Building at 2303 Kennedy St NE #100; Minneapolis, MN 55413. Enter up the stairs on Kennedy Street and we are though the red door on your left!

2026-2027 Season runs September 14, 2026-May 27, 2027.
A $50 registration fee is applied per season per student.
For most weekly classes, tuition is based on class hours per week and is divided into nine monthly installments. Performance fees may be added and are listed in the level descriptions.
Boundless and Action Performance Company tuition is a separate monthly tuition rate and have no performance fees.
We reserve the right to cancel or change any class at any time due to enrollment, illness, inclement weather, holidays, etc. Make-up classes can be taken any time throughout the season.

Tuition is due by the 5th of each month. Recurring monthly payments are set up through our online portal. These are run between the 1st-5th of each month.
Payments can be made one of three ways:
1. On our registration site with a credit card. Autopay is set up at time of registration.
2. Paypal to springinspires@gmail.com
3. Venmo @SpringDance
A late fee of $15 may be added to any account past due after the 15th of the month.
Classes may be dropped by the 15th of the month prior via written notice to springinspires@gmail.com.
1-Hour Drop-in $20; 1.5-Hour Drop-in $28; 2-Hour Drop-in $35
Private lesson rates vary and must be paid at the time of your lesson.

Dress Code

Dress Code

Ballet or appropriate dance shoes are required for all students. Leotard and tights or leggings are required for female identifying and non-binary students who are comfortable wearing them. Black dance shorts and/or ballet skirts are allowed. Solid colored t-shirts and black dance pants are required for male identifying and non-binary students. Hair should be off the face and in a bun for all students with long hair. We want a clean-lined, disciplined environment, but your comfort is deeply important to us. Contact Amber with any questions or concerns regarding dress code.
Ballet shoes should be canvas or leather with a split sole. We especially like Capezio “Hanami” style. You can find these and others at Step ‘N Stretch, Grand Jete and online.
