Synopsis:

Hansel and Gretel “starving for something more,” have run away from their suburban New York home to make their own way in The Big City.

They arrive early morning to gentle snow flurries and are soon swept into an awakening, bustling Manhattan. It’s quickly clear that life in the city costs much more than they realize. The siblings meet new friends along the way who are more street-savvy than they, find a way to see the Broadway show Wicked, audition for the Radio City Rockettes, and find shelter overnight night in FAO Schwartz.

The following day takes the audience on a little morning stroll though Central Park before heading back to the City where Hansel and Gretel are overcome by hunger and are duped into entering an enticing looking van.

Will they be “eaten alive” or can they escape unscathed? Will they find the nourishment their souls crave on their journey though the concrete jungle? Maybe they should have left breadcrumbs…
