Alice in Wonderland
We are thrilled to be presenting Alice in Wonderland this January 15-17 at The Southern Theater!
Monday Level 1 Ballet and Dance Ensemble, Tuesday Level 2-3 Jazz/Musical Theatre, Tuesday Preschool Dance, Tuesday Level 4/5 Contemporary/Jazz, Saturday Levels 2 and 3 Ballet and Dance Ensemble, and Action Performance Company (Jr. and Sr.) will be performing in Alice in Wonderland.
Places
Places is a composition show that will present works created by our Level 1-8 Dance Ensemble students and be performed at our Rainbow Ball on April 11th at the North Garden Theater.
Student Showcase
May 21-23 at Mounds View High School, we will have the honor of celebrating all of our incredible young people in our annual Student Showcase!

Saturdays 2:15-3:15 (Keep open the possibility of slightly longer rehearsals scheduled as we get closer to performances.) Tuition is $105/month.

This Company is performing in Student Showcase. There is no performance fee.
Sr. Action Performance Company (Level 6-8)
Saturdays 2:15-4:00 (Keep open the possibility of longer rehearsals scheduled as needed.) Dance Corps may also be called Mondays 7:15-8:30. Tuition is $135/month.
This Company is headlining Alice in Wonderland. There is no performance fee.
This Company is performing in Student Showcase. There is no performance fee.
Spring Inspires Team
Competitive Team
Spring Dance and Theatre Academy offers the opportunity for dancers to participate in several dance conventions and competitions throughout the season. Solos, duets, trios and small groups will be presented during our 2025-2026 season.
In keeping with our Spring philosophies, students participating with solos, duets or trios in competitions will be provided a weekly team session with Spring Inspires Team director Abby King in order to provide group unity, promote teamwork and ensure clean technique and solid performance quality in our dancers. All solo, duet and trio team members are required to take our Competitive Team Specialty Class. Our group dances will be choreographed in Group Class.
Solo, Duet, Trio (Specialty Routines)
Weekly Spring Inspires Team Specialty Class on Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm with Abby King is required.
A 30-minute private lesson with Amber Keeley is required before your first performance. This lesson is included in Team Specialty Class Tuition.
Team Specialty Class tuition: $80/month Sept-May
Spring Inspires Team Group Dances
We will be performing two group dances this year! Whitley Dahlhauser will be creating these pieces in Group Class on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm. This class is open to level 6-8 dancers dancers who wish to compete in the group numbers. You do NOT have to do a solo, duet or trio in order to be in these group dances.
We will perform group dances at three regional competitions.

Trial classes are available for all new students or any students looking to try a new class! New students must register online before entering class.
Please bring a water bottle, wear dance attire, dance shoes and have your hair neatly back for dance classes. Registration link HERE.
We are located on the first floor of The Kennedy Building at 2303 Kennedy St NE #100; Minneapolis, MN 55413. Enter up the stairs on Kennedy Street and we are though the red door on your left!

2025-2026 Season runs September 8, 2025-May 23, 2026. Tuition is based on class hours per week and is divided into nine monthly installments.
A $50 registration fee is applied per season per student.
A $50 performance fee will be added to accounts of students in classes performing in Alice in Wonderland and Student Showcase. If the student is in a second class performing in the same show, that class performance fee will be $25. If the student is in a third (or more) classes performing in the same show, those classes will have a $10 performance fee. There is no performance fee for Dance Ensemble students performing in Places.
Action Performance Company monthly tuition is $105/month for Jr Company and $135/month for Sr Company. There is no performance fee for Action.
Our Competitive Team (Inspires Team) runs September-May. Team and Group Class tuition is charged monthly. Competition fees for solos, duets and trios are paid monthly September-February. Private lesson fees are paid directly to the instructor.
We reserve the right to cancel or change any class at any time due to enrollment, illness, inclement weather, holidays, etc. Make-up classes can be taken any time throughout the season.

Tuition is due by the 5th of each month. Recurring monthly payments are set up through our online portal. These are run between the 1st-5th of each month.
Payments can be made one of four ways:
1. On our registration site with a credit card
2. Paypal to springinspires@gmail.com
3. Venmo @SpringDance
4. In person with cash (exact amount) or check to Spring Dance and Theatre Academy
Be sure to note name of student when leaving a payment.
A late fee of $15 may be added to any account past due after the 15th of the month.
Classes may be dropped by the 15th of the month prior via written notice to springinspires@gmail.com.
Private lesson rates vary and must be paid at the time of your lesson.

Dress Code
Ballet or appropriate dance shoes are required for all students. Leotard and tights or leggings are required for female identifying and non-binary students who are comfortable wearing them. Black dance shorts and/or ballet skirts are allowed. Solid colored t-shirts and black dance pants are required for male identifying and non-binary students. Hair should be off the face and in a bun for all students with long hair. We want a clean-lined, disciplined environment, but your comfort is deeply important to us. Contact Amber with any questions or concerns regarding dress code.
Ballet shoes should be canvas or leather with a split sole. We especially like Capezio “Hanami” style. You can find these and others at Step ‘N Stretch, Grand Jete and online.
